Overview

Within the approved project scope we plan procurement, installation supervision, inspection and commissioning, ensuring the system reaches its intended operating conditions.

In passive treatment systems the most critical stage determining performance is the installation. If level differences, hydraulic balances, the laying of the filter medium and the layout of the distribution lines are not executed exactly as designed, even a correctly chosen system may not deliver the intended result.

For that reason we treat installation not as a delivery item but as a continuation of engineering responsibility. We record every stage, from excavation and preparation checks to material acceptance, and from assembly supervision to the first commissioning tests.

Once commissioning is complete, the operating rules, inspection points and maintenance schedule are handed over to the team that will run the system. Installations require qualified engineering design and proper construction.

The work we take on in this area

The items below show the typical scope of this business area. Depending on the project, some may remain with the client's own team; the scope boundary is clearly defined before the contract.

  • Procurement planning and material acceptance
  • Excavation, preparation and level checks
  • Assembly supervision and conformity inspection
  • Hydraulic tests and initial commissioning
  • Handover of operating rules and inspection points
  • Preparation of installation records and the handover file
