1.Data controller

Your personal data is processed by IWA Mühendislik ve Teknoloji A.Ş. in its capacity as data controller, in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and related legislation.

2.Personal data processed

Only the data you send us is processed through this website. When you complete the contact and quotation form, the following data reaches us:

• Identity data: first name and surname
• Contact data: email address, telephone number
• Organization data: the name of the institution or company you work for (optional)
• Project data: facility/project location, the solution you are interested in, estimated capacity and the information you write in the description field
• Transaction security data: the date and time you submitted the form

3.Purposes of processing

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Assessing your request and your project need
• Carrying out technical preliminary assessment, quotation preparation and pricing processes
• Contacting you and answering your questions
• Carrying out contract processes and subsequent technical support
• Fulfilling legal obligations and exercising the right of defense in possible disputes

4.Legal grounds

Your data is processed on the grounds that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-(c)), the fulfillment of a legal obligation (KVKK Art. 5/2-(ç)) and legitimate interest (KVKK Art. 5/2-(f)). Where these do not apply, processing is based on your explicit consent under KVKK Art. 5/1; the consent you give when submitting the form falls within this scope.

5.Method of collection

Data is collected entirely electronically, through the contact and quotation form on the website and by email. The site is published statically; no profiling, advertising or analytics cookies are used during your visit (see the Privacy Policy).

6.Transfers

Limited to what is necessary to act on your request, your personal data may be transferred to the suppliers from whom we receive email and hosting services, and to authorized public institutions where there is a legal obligation. Your data is not shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

Where transfer abroad is involved, the conditions in KVKK Art. 9 are observed.

7.Retention period

Your data is retained for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it is processed and for the limitation periods prescribed in the relevant legislation. At the end of that period the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

8.Data subject rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 you may apply to the data controller to exercise the following rights:

• To learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose
• To know the third parties to whom the data is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad
• To request the correction of data processed incompletely or incorrectly
• To request deletion or destruction of the data within the conditions set out in the law
• To request that correction, deletion and destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred
• To object to an outcome against you arising from analysis carried out solely by automated systems
• To claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing

Depending on the nature of the request, your application is concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest; where the process requires an additional cost, the fee in the tariff set by the Board may be charged.
